In collaboration with South, SESC managed to set up a modern workshop that commenced operations January 2016. The workshop is located at Makongo Juu, Dar es Salaam. The presence of this workshop enables SESC to solve all problems of South surveying instruments locally. We don’t send South instruments abroad for service and repair. Our ambition is to make sure that you never find South instrument that is not working within our area of practitioner. Your South instrument must be in working condition 24/7.
This workshop is not discriminatory; since we have wide knowledge in service and calibration of Surveying Instruments trained from different manufacturers in the world we attend all brands of surveying instruments. Kindly utilize this unique facility.
Most important thing is that SESC receives full support from South in terms of Spare parts and technical knowhow. We have in stock first moving spare parts like batteries, cables, compensators and the like. And for other parts that we don’t have in stock from experience it takes less than ten days to get them from manufacturer whenever needed.
